Our Journey

Our founder, Shawn "Zues" Wilson, embarked on his Coquito-making journey by creating lasting memories with friends and family in the comfort of his home. In 2015, he took the bold step of introducing Cocovida Coquito to the world, recognizing the unique power of Coquito in uniting loved ones and spreading boundless joy. Over time, his delectable Coquito became a holiday season staple, but Shantell was determined to make this delightful beverage accessible year-round. His unwavering passion has since blossomed into a thriving business, and we are overjoyed to share the magic, delight, and joy of Coquito with you!

Traditionally, Coquito has remained a single-flavor coconut-based drink for centuries. At Cocovida Coquito, we are committed to innovation, constantly introducing new and exciting flavors that captivate taste buds on a local and national level. As a testament to our remarkable growth, we've transitioned from our humble home beginnings to a spacious 4,000 square-foot commercial kitchen. Moreover, we actively participate in joint efforts to support various non-profit organizations, including those involved in Puerto Rico Relief and Toys for Tots. We hold close to our hearts causes such as breast cancer awareness and consistently extend our hand to community organizations in need.
